Mental Exhaustion: I’m Too Tired to Turn This Into a Life Lesson
Some days, mental exhaustion doesn’t arrive with a dramatic breakdown. It looks like waking before dawn, moving through a fog, spending three hours making a healthy dinner, and watching your toddler eat only the tofu. When You're Always the Strong One, Who Do You Call?
I'm the one people call. When something falls apart, when they need advice, or when they just want someone to promise them they'll be okay—they reach out, and I show up. But this week I needed someone to talk to, and I realized I'd talked myself out of calling. Being the strong one carries a quiet cost nobody warns you about. So today I'm asking the question I'm asking you: who do you call when you're the one who finally needs help? You deserve someone to call too. ❤️

Emotionally Exhausted? Respectfully, Same.
Last night, somewhere between a delayed red-eye and my toddler throwing herself onto a hotel lobby floor, I wondered if there's a return policy on adulthood. After zero sleep, 47 bags, a "large trunk" Uber that was actually a toy car, and surviving on emotional support cookies, I learned something: exhaustion isn't failure. It's evidence you've been carrying a lot. If all you did today was survive and keep going? That counts.
