This morning I asked my toddler if we'd see a red cardinal today. Hours later, she and my husband burst through the door: "We saw two!" To me, those cardinals were proof God heard every whispered prayer. Yesterday I wrote that nobody's coming to save you. Today taught me something gentler—sometimes the mountain doesn't move, but faith still grows. Maybe today was never about moving the mountain. Maybe it was about strengthening the one climbing it.
