How to Manifest What You Want: Miracles and Leaving Room for Wonder

Lately I've been turning over the ideas of manifestation and miracles in my head, along with those strange little moments in life that make you stop and wonder.
I've never believed life works like an online order, where you think about something hard enough and it shows up on your doorstep. It's more complex than that. Yes, I absolutely believe in manifesting—but it's not like I dream of Jeannie or Aladdin, and a genie appears to grant my wishes. There's a lot more to it, and I'll be diving deeper into that in another blog. If it were that simple, I'd probably be writing this from a villa on the Amalfi Coast while somebody else handled my inbox. But every so often, something happens that's genuinely hard to explain—a moment that reminds you there's still room for a little mystery.
Months ago, when the FIFA World Cup ticket lottery opened, my husband and I entered. Nothing. So we entered again. Still nothing. Again. And again. If you've ever tried to get tickets to one of the biggest sporting events on the planet, you already know how slim the odds are.
After one especially disappointing round, I turned to my husband and said, "We're going to see Messi play."
He smiled. "Maybe."
"No," I said. "We're going to see Argentina."
He gave me that look—the one that says I love your optimism, but let's be realistic. And here's the funny part: this whole conversation happened months before anyone even knew which teams would play in which cities. There was no schedule to study, no matchup to plan around, no way of guessing where Argentina would land. Still, I couldn't shake the feeling.
So we kept entering. We kept hoping.
Then, on my toddler's birthday, the email arrived. We'd won tickets. I turned to my husband, grinning ear to ear. "We're going to see Argentina."
He laughed. "We'll see."
Fast forward to today. I'm walking toward the stadium, unbelievable seats in hand, surrounded by thousands of fans—so many of them wrapped in Argentina's blue and white. The energy is impossible to resist. People are singing, snapping photos, hugging total strangers, soaking up the kind of atmosphere that reminds you exactly why sports pull people together in the first place.
Then the players walked onto the field. There was Argentina. There was Messi. Exactly like I'd said.
Was it manifestation? Faith? Persistence? Coincidence? God's timing? Honestly, I think it's a combination of all of it—faith, energy, manifesting—and it goes even deeper than that.
What This Taught Me About How to Manifest What You Want
What I do know is that we heard "no" far more often than we heard "yes." It would have been easy to stop entering, to decide it just wasn't meant to be, to let the disappointment have the last word. Instead, we kept trying. Maybe that's the whole lesson.
If you're wondering how to manifest what you want, I don't think it starts with controlling the outcome. Maybe it's about holding onto hope long enough to stay open to what might come. And maybe miracles aren't always big and dramatic. Maybe they're built from a hundred small moments quietly clicking into place, until one day you look up and realize you're living something you once only imagined.
Walking into that stadium, I couldn't help but smile—because life had reminded me that sometimes the most beautiful moments are the ones you never could have planned.
Whatever you want to call it—faith, hope, perseverance, coincidence, a miracle—I hope you never lose your willingness to believe that wonderful things can still happen. Tomorrow is a new day, full of hope and possibility.
About the Author | Day 184
I'm a soul-led coach, writer, entrepreneur, mother, and recovering perfectionist, currently navigating healing, motherhood, business building, faith, uncertainty, and the daily practice of believing that life can still surprise us in the best ways.
For 184 days straight, I've shown up here—through exhaustion, travel, toddler chaos, business deadlines, healing setbacks, unanswered prayers, and unexpected blessings. Along the way, I've learned that hope isn't about knowing how everything will work out. It's about having the courage to keep believing before you have any proof.
I write for the overthinkers, the healing hearts, the tired caregivers, the entrepreneurs, the dreamers, and anyone holding onto a prayer that hasn't been answered yet. I believe persistence matters. I believe faith often grows in the waiting. And I believe some of life's most extraordinary moments start as quiet whispers that just won't leave your heart.
Day 184 is a reminder to leave room for wonder. Not everything can be explained, predicted, or planned. Sometimes life unfolds more beautifully than we ever imagined.
Keep hoping. Keep believing. And never lose your sense of wonder. ❤️
